Mini Golf Fun at Orange Beach

  • Posted on

While staying in Gulf Shores at The Little Lady, our family decided to check out one of the newest attractions in the area—Beachside Mini Golf in Orange Beach. If you're a fan of mini golf, this 18-hole course is a must-visit, offering fun for the entire family.

The course is beautifully designed, featuring a 50-foot lighthouse, a charter fishing boat, and a huge tropical waterfall, which even has a hole behind it! The whole setup feels vibrant and well-thought-out, making it one of the best mini-golf spots we’ve experienced in the area.

We decided to go on a Friday evening around 6 pm and had no problem getting in. Their hours are 9 am to 10 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and 9 am to 9 pm the rest of the week, so there's plenty of time to fit in a game. One thing we loved was how well-lit the course was as it got dark—it made playing mini golf after sunset really enjoyable.

As a family with young kids, we appreciated that the restrooms were super clean (a lifesaver when they had to go halfway through!). Most of the holes were easy enough for all of us to play, but there was one—hole 13—that had a tricky hill around it. Even mom and dad found that one to be a challenge!

Another great feature of Beachside Mini Golf is that the first nine holes are ADA compliant and handicap accessible, which makes it a wonderful option for everyone. The course is also easy to navigate and has a couple of bonus activities. You can play corn hole before or after your round, or head indoors to enjoy a game of checkers.

For something extra fun, don’t miss their *Mining Discovery Zone*. Your kids will love grabbing mining bags and sifting through them at the discovery station to uncover real gemstones, fossils, and shells—definitely a unique add-on experience!

We also found a couple of deals on their website, including one where you get a discount for wearing your favorite sports team shirt, and a "buy 5 rounds, get one free" offer, which is a nice bonus. You can check their latest deals at beachsideminigolf.net and by following them on Facebook.

Beachside Mini Golf is located directly behind The Ruby Slipper Cafe on Perdido Beach Blvd (Highway 182). The address is 24156 Ruby Lane, Orange Beach, so it’s easy to find if you're already in the area.

Overall, we had a blast and would definitely recommend this spot for a fun, family-friendly evening in Orange Beach.
